Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a volunteer powered nonprofit dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned and neglected animals. We operate without a facility of our own, relying on the generosity of foster parents in the DC area to house our pets until they get adopted. We are committed to finding animals loving forever homes, but we do more than that. We work to stop the problem of pet overpopulati...on at its source by operating spay/neuter programs as well as educational programs to teach pet parents about responsible ownership.
