The Arc Montgomery County seeks an energetic, enthusiastic person to support the agency's fundraising activities in a small-shop environment within a large multi-faceted agency. Job responsibilities are focused around database management and gift processing; donor stewardship; fundraising event logistics; electronic and print communications; charitable registration compliance; and grants management. This position requires professionalism, flexibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to succeed in both creative and detailed task-oriented assignments.
The successful candidate will have:
High-level fluency with Microsoft Office applications
Superior organizational skills with the ability to focus on details, identify patterns and think strategically
Facility with a range of verbal and written communications styles adaptable to multiple audiences
Experience developing social media content (desired)
Education and experience requirements are:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field + 2 years of relevant work experience OR
A.A. degree in a relevant field + 4 years of relevant work experience (30 credit hours may be substituted for 1 year of work experience) OR
a high school diploma/GED equivalency + 6 years of relevant work experience.
Additional Salary Information: Work hours are negotiable between 30.0 and 37.5 hours per week.
